It's on the water but you can't really see the water much because of the bushes and foggy window but nonetheless it was a great place to eat! Food was fresh and flavorful and the service was amazing! I'm so glad we saw this place in the Seaside magazine.

Watching outdoor diners from our condo balcony next door, husband and I had to try this charming bistro. Met the chef on our way in, humble and proud talent! Greens and beet entree-size salad with honey ginger dressing started us off. Expecting more, we got it with the delicious bay shrimp stuffed sole over risotto cake, sautéed carrot and red pepper topped with lemon caper relish...that plate splat presentation was awesome! Did I say Marionberry Crisp a la mode? Could not resist! Revisited with girlfriend for lunch and wine: she enjoyed the salmon tacos, I loved the crab cake and salad dressed with lemon caper aioli. Staff was charming and accommodating, sophisticated ambience and location are rare in this playful town. You've gotta try Maggie's on the Prom!

Such a beautiful restaurant with a view you cannot miss out on. Everything is made fresh and the cocktails are to die for. I recommend the gnocchi and get a dessert for the road to take home. Service is ok they should check in a bit more but overall we were pleased.

Had the fish and chips and crab au gratin. Both were excellent. Service was attentive and timely. Nice little patio with views of the ocean. Everyone sat outside on this lovely weekend evening.

Their location is a little slice of heaven. Right on the promenade with a little "courtyard" so it feels like a secret garden. We had a variety of items; oysters on the half shell, steamed mussels, ceaser salad with a crab cake, seafood pasta. All of it was solid, delicious, nicely prepared. not over the top but very approachable. Service was excellent. I will definitely try to fish tacos which seemed to be real popular.

What a breathtaking view on the patio area at Maggie's! Even if we didn't have our dog, we would still have requested for the outdoor seating! We are from Las Vegas, NV; and stayed in Seaside for our Oregon coast vacation. Maggie's oceanfront restaurant was so close to my resort that we walked to dinner. After a short walk in the cool weather (63' F), we were ready to chow down on dinner. I ordered the pappardelle w/ butternut squash purée, which was yummy, BUT the portion was diminutive! My husband had the Black Cod, and he told me it was OK. Thank goodness for the fried calamari appetizer, otherwise we would have been still hungry. I am leaving my review as 4-stars, because the staffs were super nice! Another concern was that Maggie charges their customers for bread & butter, which should be complimentary due to the expensive prices.

We were lucky that Maggie's reopened a few days before our visit to Seaside. Since they aren't taking reservations, we went early and were lucky to get seated outside right away. And, were fortunate to be able to move inside when the temps got cooler. Drinks, dinner and dessert were delicious. We wished the steamer clams came with more bread so we could soak up the rest of the sauce/liquid... it was that good. (I'm sure we could've asked for more bread, but we did want to also save room for dinner). They were out of the tapioca crusted halibut, which sounded delicious. We had the spring Chinook and the black cod and enjoyed the fish, the veggies, etc. (Seriously, we both completely cleaned our plates!) Dessert was a rhubarb upside down cake which was heavenly. Maria's service was great, and her menu help was much appreciated. We'll definitely eat here on future trips to Seaside.
